According to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), flying a drone is legal in the EU. However, non-EU travelers who plan on flying a drone weighing more than 0.55 pounds (250 grams) must first register with the National Aviation Authority (NAA).

Drones are allowed in Bali, and most hobbyists don’t need a permit to fly them. However, if your drone exceeds the maximum allowed weight of two kilograms, you will need to apply for a permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Drones are permitted in Belize, but nonresidents must have a permit to fly. You must also be commissioned for business purposes to use your drone here, so recreational pilots will be unable to fly their drones.
Drones are outlawed in New York City as a whole, which includes the entirety of Central Park. The park attracts too many large crowds for it to be feasible to fly your drone.
Recreational drones are prohibited from both the Town of Banff and Banff National Park, with the park a designated no-fly zone.
As of 2014, drones are prohibited from being used at Big Bend National Park on any of its waters or lands. The ban extends to the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River and is enforced by the National Park Service.
Drones are permitted in Breckenridge, Colorado but must fly under Title 5, Chapter 14 of the Breckenridge Town Code on Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
All remote-controlled equipment, including drones, is illegal in Bryce Canyon National Park. This law was established by the National Park Service, a federal agency. Breaking the law could lead to a misdemeanor charge, including fines and time behind bars.
Drones are allowed in St. Lucia, but you must follow the rules and regulations that are set by the government. Among other things, you must register your drone with the CAA before you arrive, and you need to carry liability insurance to fly your drone.
You can easily bring your drone to Portugal and fly it once you’re there. If your drone is in the Open Category, you only need to register it if you plan to take photos and videos, or if you are operating it commercially.
