Regardless of what Combo was purchased, DJI has a recommended power-up sequence for the Mavic 3 Pro.

Mavic 3 Pro Startup sequence in a nutshell:

  • If you own a DJI RC or DJI RC Pro, the sequence is to turn on the RC (DJI RC Pro or DJI RC) and then the Mavic 3 Pro.
  • If using a DJI RC-N1, the sequence is to turn on the Remote Controller first. Followed by turning on the Mavic 3 Pro, and lastly, opening the DJI Fly app.

Powering on the Mavic 3 Pro

Step 1: It is important for you to remove the gimbal cover that is on the camera. If this step is forgotten too many times, the gimbal may eventually suffer from gimbal failure and break because of the gimbal self-test.
