You can safely fly a drone in South Africa as long as you adhere to the regulations stipulated by the South African Civil Aviation Authority.

You can fly a drone in a Warning Zone, but expect a warning from most drones as you enter.

Fortunately, South Carolina is very welcoming of UAV pilots. Though you must obey federal and state drone laws, there are few – if any – local regulations you must be aware of.    

Flying a drone in Georgia State Parks is illegal unless you have a commercial film/photography permit from the park’s Division Director.

Drones are allowed in El Yunque National Forest, but if you’re taking photos or plan to capture video footage of the forest, you must have a commercial filming permit.

You can fly a drone in Galveston, but if you’re close to the Scholes International Airport, you must have airspace authorization.

You can fly a drone in Hoboken, NJ, and doing so is a great spot to get views of New York City without venturing over state lines. You do have to follow all federal guidelines as well as state and local drone laws.

While technically, you can fly a drone in someone’s yard, you have to do so safely or you’re violating FAA guidelines.
